PTA

The school hugely benefits from the support of its PTA.  Their objective is to work closely with the parents and teachers to support the school in its ambition to create a happy and successful learning environment for the children. They have a key role to play in forging a wider school community at Bentley Heath through their work and events, and in doing so raising funds for the school to spend on resources it could not otherwise afford.

Parents and the School

We work in close partnership with parents, who are valued and welcomed in school.  We have an open door policy and encourage parents to approach class teachers or the Headteacher on an informal basis to discuss any areas of concern.

All parents automatically become members of the School Association when their children join the school. The committee members begin their terms of office after the AGM in the Autumn term but meetings are informal and open to all parents. Offers of help and new ideas are welcome at any time.

The Association is very active and raises several thousands of pounds each year to enhance the children’s experiences in school, whilst also providing a social side to school life. A regular programme of events includes a  Fireworks evening, Children’s Discos, Christmas and Summer Fairs.
